During the Catholic Charismatic movement of the early 1970's, Michael Millé‚ surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. A great adventure of ministry followed. He entered into full time ministry at First Assembly of God in New Orleans. There he served as the Singles Pastor, Evangelistic Outreach Director, and Pastoral Counselor. He and his wife, Elaine, trained a large group of Under Shepherds who were responsible for conducting over 250 bible studies each week throughout the city.

They also pioneered many local storefront churches, expanding the outreach of the mother church. It was during this time that he gained invaluable experience and insight that would later catapult a new ministry into an international outreach. In 1987, Pastor Mike founded White Dove Fellowship Church, an independent Full Gospel work on the Westbank of New Orleans. What began as a small house church has today expanded into a growing congregation of over 3,000 attendees.
