Manny Randazzo King Cakes

Manny is a second generation baker learning his baking skills and the secret formula of the Randazzo Family’s recipe for their famous king cakes from his Father, Manuel Randazzo Sr.  In 1965 Manuel Sr., along with his father and brothers, opened the renowned Randazzo’s HiLan Bakery in Chalmette, Louisiana.

Then in 1992 Manny opened his full-service bakery under the direction of his father.  Because the Family’s King Cake was in such high demand and sought after, in 1995 Manny decided to devote his business exclusively to the baking of their famous king cakes.  This business not only grew from the great demand locally, but has spread all over the country with year-round overnight delivery to share this Mardi Gras season tradition.

Each year in Mid December the bakery’s storefront opens to customers waiting to buy festive Christmas king cakes decorated in red and green.  Jan 3rd kicks off the King Cake Season.  No one seems to mind the lines because they know when inside, the smell of the delicious freshly-baked king cakes await them, and they are served by a friendly staff.

Manny and his wife Pam are passionate about their family business and are committed to serving the finest quality and tastiest king cakes in town.

We invite you to be part of the tradition and “Second Line” it to Manny Randazzo King Cakes!
